Kate Beresford – Founder

Hi and welcome.   I am the Founder and Director of Cloud Bookkeeping Solutions.   I have been bookkeeping for more than 17 years; needless to say, I love what I do.   When I started out, bookkeeping was very manual, though today with exceptional accounting programs and technology, it really makes our bookkeeping processes so much more streamlined, efficient and effective.

My background and qualifications include:

  • 17 years of real world, practical experience including accounting and bookkeeping firms
  • Cert IV in Bookkeeping
  • Diploma in Accounting
  • Registered Licensed BAS Agent – number 2520 0393
  • Xero Certified Consultant
  • MYOB Consultant
  • Proficient in Xero, MYOB, QBO, Receipt bank, Actionstep, LEAP, to name a few.

I know what frustrates business owners, particularly around bookkeeping.   Simply, it boils down to know-how and time and that’s where I love helping my clients.   With the bookkeeping services that I provide, my team and I give back time to business owners, to let them use it where they want.   Maybe it’s more time with the family, or relaxing after a hard day, or being able to focus more effectively on their business and do what they do well.   In other words, giving them back control of their day and their working life whilst giving them the confidence that their bookwork is in good hands.

I have extremely high standards, so I ensure that I recruit and retain the best local bookkeepers to ensure that every client has an exceptional experience.   I oversee every project and personally care for each client.  For me, bookkeeping isn’t just about numbers – it’s about helping business owners achieve the best results possible from saving them time, to ensuring they’ll pass an ATO or BAS audit, or trusting the figures they are looking at are true, accurate and timely.

 

Kerry Cameron

Kerry has significant experience in bookkeeping and business administration.  This experience was gained while working for 19 years in the health care profession during which time she has used a range of MYOB products extensively.

Kerry has the following:

  • Diploma of Accounting
  • Xero Certification
  • Xero Payroll Certification
  • A Certificate IV TAA
  • Registration as a BAS #89569009
  • A Justice of the Peace (JP – Qual)

She is a member of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers.  Kerry very much enjoys helping small business and prides herself on quality service.  While working as a consultant bookkeeper Kerry believes that the experience she has been exposed to during her career is the perfect platform to help business owners use their time more effectively on their business.

Kerry has solid experience in Xero and various MYOB products including MYOB AccountRight, MYOB Exo Business and MYOB Exo Payroll.  She is able to carry out setup of software, implementation and training, carries out virtual bookkeeping services such as Xero training, BAS preparation, bank reconciliations, training and payroll services.  Kerry will even help with debt collection; getting that money into her clients’ pockets to help their business.

 

Kerry Roche

As a self-confessed organiser, bookkeeping has always been the right career choice for Kerry.  She says “It gives me great satisfaction to be ‘on top’ of a clients file.  I have a passion to continue learning and helping our clients to stay in control of their books.”   She also believes it’s very important to work together and help the client learn.  For this reason, Kerry is also always striving to learn as much as possible herself and extend her skills, experience and ability, in order to provide the most she possibly can for her clients.   She also loves to problem solve, works well under pressure, is details focussed and has excellent customer service skills from her time working in Retail Management.

She has worked with a number of industries, including many years in the transport industry and at an accounting firm where she learnt HandiLedger and worked with a varied range of small businesses, including rural businesses.

Kerry is:

  • Almost finished her dual Certificate IV in Bookkeeping and Accounting at the Monarch Institute. She intends to continue with a Diploma in Accounting.
  • Highly proficient in MYOB Accountright V19 as well as a range of other MYOB versions.
  • Xero Certified.
  • Experienced with Receiptbank, MYOB essentials and Quickbooks.

 

Zoe Harris

After more than 12 years of working in a Brisbane professional practice, Zoe joined Cloud Bookkeeping Solutions in 2018 and hasn’t looked back.

She loves the challenges that bookkeeping brings and even more so, the results she sees from a job well done.   Zoe is passionate about continued learning and professional development.

Zoe is a bubbly ‘people’s person’ with exceptional attention to detail. She brings a fresh and positive outlook to the office and is always happy to assist her clients.
